Dr. Nguyen was born and raised in Houston, TX and attended the University of Texas at Austin (hook ‘em!), where she majored in Nutritional Sciences. She then travelled out of Texas to achieve her optometric education at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. During her time at ICO, she held leadership positions in several organizations including Private Practice Club, American Optometric Student Association (AOSA), and Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA). After receiving her Doctorate of Optometry in 2022, Dr. Nguyen then went on to complete an Ocular Disease residency at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System in Las Vegas. She returned to Texas and joined our practice shortly after.
Dr. Nguyen is board certified and has earned her Fellowship through the American Academy of Optometry. In her free time, she enjoys being active, finding new food spots, and hanging out with her sheepadoodle puppy, Harvey!
